Large Frozen Eggs Only from Breeding?
I'm not sure if this is a bug or if RNGesus just hated me streaming the other night, but no matter which pals I put together, I was only getting Large Frozen Eggs from the breeding. Did anyone else have this issue after the Raid update?

wait do you just randomly breed things? go to paldex.io and see what it says should be made it has a breeding section with all breeding combinations so if your breeding results don't match up something is wrong

Wait, they changed it finally to have the stuff actually matter? Last I heard it didn't matter what you did, the whole thing was completely randomized. And I even tested it and it was true.

That's not what my initial breeding results say pre-raid update. That or something else made it seem randomized.

Regardless, thank you for pointing me to a way to get the pals I want.

yea it has never once ever been random lol. this was figured out early on but i guess you missed the memo so here are some tips

firstly use paldex.io to find out what you need to breed what pal

keep pals with no passive skills: this is good for breeding new pals with little work for example i took a grizzbolt and a chikipi to make a digtoise with the passives workslave, serious, artisan and lucky all these passives give work speed and got a perfect mining digtoise in just one batch of 21 eggs (a pen can hold 20 eggs and if the bar is full you'll get an extra after the first pickup) and then i put that digtoise with a jormuntide that had no passives and got an anubis with all 4 same passives as the digtoise with just one batch of eggs so with just two batchs i actually got a perfect mining pal and i got two perfect crafting anubis as they both need workspeed and i used paldex to figure out how to get what i wanted with what i had

there is a hidden stat called IV and it makes pals have different hp, attack and defence numbers even if they are the same pal at the same level so if you want the best stats look it up on youtube because its a lot to explain.

the passives you care about are artisan, workslave, lucky and serious for any pal that stays at your base and does a job with a loading bar like crafting items or watering plants

for combat you want legend, muscle head, ferocious, any passive that says lord or emperor in the name and hooligan/lucky and i'll explain. if a pal only has one element type do legend, muscle, ferocious, and the element passive from the lord or emperor skills so if its a water type you will use lord of the sea passive but if its an ice you'll use ice emperor instead with the other 3 ones i mentioned not if it has two types like jormuntide its better to do legend, muscle head, ferocious and hooligan or lucky as hooligan and lucky give the same 15% damage buff the reason this is better is how the math works out and putting on two lord skills is bad

if you have pals with any of the skills i mentioned above but don't have any other skills keep them for breeding until you have a bunch of maxed out ones you can pick from this way you have more parent pals to pick from

also how did you test it? all you needed to do was breed the same two a few times to see its always the same egg then get another two of the same pals and try again and see you get the same egg so like breed a tanze with a foxparks to see you get 20 of the same eggs then like a different tanze and foxparks to get the same 20 eggs for example

Don't forget Legend, Nimble, Runner, Swift for your preferred flying mount.

Its never been random, breeding two pals 50 times will produce 50 of the same pals

I could very well be misremembering, but I don't believe that's the case, I just remember throwing in two pals and leaving them for a while ending up with 2 different types of eggs and getting 3 different pals from each of the eggs. I've got the stuff in my streams, but I don't feel like rewatching the VoDs (I never do) If they aren't up already they will be once I get around to batch releasing the VoDs.

Decided to scroll through my streams in spite of what I said (they are all unlisted atm). I can't even find when I tested it, so my conclusion is I am severely misremembering and would like to apologize for any issues that may have been brought up, even as small as a slight annoyance at my standpoint. I do appreciate you folks pointing me in the direction of a good way to speed up my pal breeding.
