Im pretty sure no, arisan or work slave affecting work speed ,if you want your pals to transport faster u need to focus as well on passives like swift, numble and so on

which will affect there movememt speed
It increase the number of things they can transport, but since most pal are around 2/3 (3/4 once lvl 5) in transport, and that is basically nothing :
Lvl 1 : 2 pieces
2 : 5 pieces
3 : 10 pieces
4 : 20 pieces
5 : 40 pieces

So 50% (with artisan) would make lvl 2 transport go to 7 or 8, lvl 3 to 15, and lvl 4 to 30, so it is usefull, but it's better to make them go fast with swift (better to combined both, artisan + swift make for a great transport pal).

But overall they don't transport a lot, so it's not that fast even with artisan. Also depend on your base (you can optimize so that they don't have to run around a lot).

It need to be verified, use a lvl 2 pal and lift it, and see if he was transporting more than 5 things.
Work Speed Passives don't currently affect transporting. Condensing up to 5 will increase transporting by 1 level, which allows for larger stacks to be carried at the same time. If you're doing a pure transporting, you probably should focus on movement speed:

* Swift - 30%
* Runner - 20%
* Legend (pain in the butt to get this until late game, not available on pals that don't have breeding chains)- 15%
* Nimble - 10%

It also helps to try to keep chests very nearby where items are produced as if you can be close enough, movement speed doesn't matter at all.

Pals have two movement speeds, one when they're carrying nothing, and one when they're carrying things. Some pals are really fast in the first case but pretty slow in the second. Alphas (because of their larger size) can carry things a bit faster.

Pals to consider for transport:
* Mimog - Incredibly fast movement speed, but with a mediocre transporting skill (meaning it may take a few trips to move a large stack of things). Consider improving with transporting books. You'll start seeing these in early-mid game, but catching them is not easy.
* Knocklem - Not that fast, but has a large capacity. Good for moving large stacks, bad at moving scattered items. Breedable, or you can catch the boss variant in midgame.
* Faleris Aqua - A good hybrid watering and carrying pal, handy in late game because it can transport things well when not watering stuff, and some late-game watering (skill fruit trees especially) will be sporadic. Probably easiest to breed this one if you want it early, and the breeding chain is a bit long.
* Orserk - Only decent at carrying because of its slow encumbered move speed, but amazing at electricity (a sporadic need). So another good hybrid pal. Breeding and catching are both viable.
* Helezzephyr - Before you get any of the above, this is a very solid, early-mid-game transporting pal. No frills. Its electric cousin adds occasional elecctricty slightly later in the game if you can manage to get it early.
* Eye of Cthulhu - Quite fast (not quite as fast as mimog), with L4 in transporting. With extensive breeding (or help of a properly prepared Yakumo) you can get all the useful passives but Legend on it, so if you want a late-game transporting pal this is a very solid option. Available a little bit earlier than Legend (which you will not be able to put on this using any currently-available means), but this is a boss you'll need to capture at the end of the Terraria dungeon (at least twice, for breeding and condensing). No other work suitability though. It also looks pretty weird, so if that puts you off it's understandable.
Thank you guys for the info it helped a lot
I honestly think Legend and Nimble aren't worth the effort for the purpose of a perfect transporter. I've seen some Pals take a few seconds to reach their full speed with just Swift and Runner.

Try to set up your base so that storage and production are within easy reach. Full time transporters are more useful than ones that do it on the side (usually).

For budget transport I think Vanwyrm is good, easy to obtain, good speed for its tier, nocturnal and isn't too demanding food wise.

In the case of min-max at around endgame, I think Vanwyrm is still a good choice. Kindling tasks will get finished before it goes back to transporting. You can have it as a full work speed kindler and have it do transport on its downtime. Only problem is that you'll need 3 Kindling Technique books to max it out. Ragnahawk and Faleris are more suitable choices if you don't care for nocturnal.

Also the Pals that dachte listed are solid choices.
For transport Pals, I'd use Nimble, Runner, Swift; any of the movement enhancing traits and boost the star-quality of the Pal. Books that enhance Transport to a higher level can also prove useful; those will most often drop from Feybreak Meteorite Event caches (not the meteorite but the supply drop). Even at a low level, if you can make it to the island and evade the hostile critters in order to trigger the event, you can get some nice loot prematurely. Some preparations may be in order!
It’s worth noting that while increasing the transport skill does increase the maximum items the pal can carry, that only takes effect if the items stack was that large to begin with.
A transport 5 pal will carry 1 dropped berry just the same as it will carry 40 stone from the quarry and it will not seek to increase that stack of 1.

You want to pick your transport pals based on their TransportSpeed stat as well their RunSpeed[paldb.cc], both being affected by nimble/runner/swift/legend - run speed is getting to the item and transport speed is moving item. iirc nocturnal mimog is the absolute best with eye of cthulhu in second and a max condensed depresso in third simply for the absurdity that 9000 speed is.
The faleris bird is a good transporter.

I wonder if "work speed" passives are good for the faleris for transporting?

"word speed" passives: serious, artisan, remarkable craftsmanship, lucky

No, work speed doesn’t affect the transporting skill at all. Your only options to influence it are runspeed, transportspeed, any passives that boost non-mounted movement, and uptime (nocturnal).

The only reason you'd want work speed passives on a transporting pal is if that pal is dual-purpose. For example, if you use Faleris Aqua for both transporting and watering. Those passives don't help with transport, but they could help with the other task(s).

Maybe they'll change this in some future release of the game, but that's where things are right now.
