We lost all ..
Hi, me and friends we're playing on a dedicated Nitrado server and everything was ok but since the latest patch the game ask to create a character and start from day 1 . Wich mean everything we did, like builds , tons of pals captured and bosses is lost. Anyone else with this problem ? I've heard of a server wipe but on the official ones, NOT the "private" ..

It might be all dedicated servers, private or official, but I don't actually know. That's my guess though. I know it doesn't effect single payer or the private multiplayer games not on servers.

Same thing happened to my server. It was set up to allow multiplayer, though no one else joined. I had it that way in case any of my students decided to play, so that I could play it with them.

The private server save files are stored on the server home base PC if server is wiped it means you deleted the files for the server. Just restore the files from back up files... unless you deleted them too.

This is pretty normal with early access games I'm afraid. Losing content when a new update comes out is quite common. What I'd recommend doing is try seeing if you can change it back to the previous update then you can play your old world.

Sorry to hear this happened though, it's not nice because sometimes you get really attached to your pals.

If you're paying someone to host a server and they lose your data go ask them what happened. You're paying them. If they want to keep your business they're obligated to help you.

We solved with a very recent backup ( July 9th ) so the server has the latest patch since we din't downgraded the clients . Now, why the data was lost ? We don't know .

We also solved with a very recent backup (ours was from July 11th).
