Raid boss fight

With 15 pals attacking the raid boss I can barely see the target besides the fact that they butt block my shots half the time. I can't help but wonder if this fight mechanic was well thought out. Your thoughts?

When fighting raid bosses I always climb up to elevated ground for a clear shot (it's also useful as cover since the bosses can destroy any walls you build pretty easily but terrain isn't destructible)

As I see:
One of the laziest options is to fly on your flying mount and shoot from above.
One of the practical options is to build a raid boss base under a cliff so you can climb higher and shoot from above.
And one of the creative options is to build your own platforms around the spawn point to run on, or even put your pals on the mounted rocket launchers so that they don't run around blocking your view (though you'll probably have to repair or rebuild everything later).

There are many solutions. Consider this a kind of test of your resourcefulness.
