Reach lvl 54 in level, and get the Pal Disassembly Conveyor.

Get that and revel in the stuff your pals will give.

A hint, “Chest babies” by your wording or Minimogs, won’t give you dog coins when slaughtered this way, gotta get them naturally through catching or knocking them senseless.

In addition to Mimogs dog coins have a roughly 22% chance to drop from junkyards resource nodes that look like a pile of rubble. https://palworld.wiki.gg/wiki/Junkyard what can be acquired from them can be quite valuable so don't ignore them.

That's where I normally get my dog coins from.
Supposedly, the junk piles in Sakurajima give slightly more of those coins than usual, but I haven't been able to test that.

It's worth it, considering the trader (found at most church ruins) has really good stuff for it (including extra accessory slots, or undershirts that give both heat and cold resist, for example)
