If the pal is more basic and seen out in the wild often, then it might be more viable to get a pal with mercy hit (or a whole team) and with a vinxy ball ranch (you get hundred of basic balls an hour or more, depending on how many ranches you have) I 4 starred a teafant in about half an hour.

But yeah for star fodder as long as one parent has philanthropist you'll get a male and female example eventually then both parents have it and really make eggs fast. My kingdom for a male bellanoire.

And for breeding I have two breeding pens going and that works for cake farm/egg star foddering, I end up dedicating the breeding base to the ingredients for cake and also part of another base. Two water and one fire jormungder or whatever is pretty necessary for watering chores and making the cake itself. I end up switching out milk pals for egg or honey ones as the ingredient ratios fluctuate.
