How to pause a game?

Seriously I play single player and I cant pause the game?

I do however think it would be a good new feature although probably not a top priority.

Also, don't go in boss fight when your body is screaming toilet.

I know it's extremely stupid that this is staple for gaming these days essentially single player don't pause hell even in some games that have an offline don't even pause it's a stupid norm. In the years of my life that the parents are starting to go downhill and they need help quite a bit so I have to leave very frequently sometimes for extended periods and the fact I can't even pause for 5 minutes is just extremely annoying. Yes I can leave the game and come back but that's still a lot more time consuming to load in and out and it's the principal that makes it really annoying.

It is currently working,
but I had to do what it said on that line on NexusMods:
"To help with crashes open UE4SS-settings.ini in \Pal\Binaries\Win64 and set bUseUObjectArrayCache to false."

Yeah it's utter rubbish that they don't have a built-in pause function on singleplayer. I despise the modern gamedev disposition to just act like no one plays their games SP.

I don't understand why they pick this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Unreal 5 engine. Game doesn't look amazing, and have terrible performance.
Also day circle looks like in Minecraft Alpha when day have one light and when become night, lighting is changing by a few steps.
Also default night is also same like on old Minecraft where it's just no lighting

Meanwhile you can play Doom Eternal on Switch console

If you need to go to the toilet, be prepared to face the consequences, as if you went to the toilet in real life!
The enemy is not asleep! While you are doing your toilet business - your base will be raided, buildings will be burned, and pals will be kidnapped! This is the price for your relief!

(But yes, seriously - you still have logout and mods, if you are worried).

Hardcore Pal training? What is hardcore on creating synthetic Anubis who can kill everything?
I see this game more like casual and relaxing experience.
