Unknown World Data after accidental hard shutdown

I have a cat. My cat is an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. He has a habit of stepping on my computer's power button when I'm in the middle of things, and this time, it was while I was playing Palworld. When I turned the computer back on and went to get back to playing, my data was gone from the world select menu, and in its place was "Unknown World Data." I don't have a backup for numerous reasons. Am I completely screwed, or is there a way to fix this?

happened to me as well because of power outage. try this video it helped me recover 160 hours of progress, i hope this helps.

I actually managed to find that - or a similar video, I'm not sure that's the exact one - late last night and forgot to update this thread; thanks so much for linking it though, I really appreciate it! You're a real one.
