My ps5 Dualsense is not working on Palworld only?

My controller is working on all my steam games that's comparable except for Palworld. Whats going on?

I did some research, I did the following:

Check Steam Input Settings:
Open Steam and go to "Settings."
Navigate to "Controller" and then "General Controller Settings."
Ensure that "PlayStation Configuration Support" is enabled.
Disable Steam Input for Palworld:
Go to your Steam Library, right-click on Palworld, and select "Properties."
Under the "Controller" tab, set the "Override for Palworld" to "Disable Steam Input"

Run as Administrator:
Try running both Steam and Palworld as an administrator. Right-click on the Steam shortcut and select "Run as administrator." Do the same for Palworld

Clear Cache and Restart:
Clear the Steam cache and restart both Steam and the game to see if that resolves the issue

.
Check for External Accessories:
Unplug any other controllers or external accessories that might be interfering with the DualSense controller

Nothing is working :(

are u using it bluetooth? if ur trying with bluetooth.. Try a Cord with the controller. i know i had problems on other games. that did this. but if ur using bluetooth. id say try using the cord. insted. if ur using the cord. then try bluetooth. and make sure the ps5 dualshock in steam settings is enabled. not sure. i use a ps4 controller. that has a USB C type cable. if urs is a C Type Cable try that.

I have my controller connected via cable (usb-c).
I have not tried bluetooth. A good idea....... just tried it, it still doesn't work :( I tried other games and its working. I don't know why palworld is giving me issues.

You said "Make sure the ps5 dualshock in steam settings is enabled." do you mean where it says, "playstation controller support" under steam settings>controller? Or is there a different setting for dualshock?

Did you ever find a solution to this? Its driving me crazy that the steam setting say PS5 controller is supported...when it clearly is not.

unfortunately, the only way I can play this game with my Dualsense so far is by enabling steam input
