Any ideas on how to make smelting faster?

I really want to play palworld with my friend but he ditched the game because the smelting was so slow the game basicaly turned into an afk simulator, and yes I know I can just make a new world but im attached to these stupid lil idiots and I dont want them to collect dust in an abandoned world. So plz tell me if there is any way to make crafting and smelting faster for my friend?

Get pals that have better kindling levels, or advance through the game to acquire the better smelters, or make more smelters. There's one that allows multiple pals to work at it at the same time.

If you're standing around waiting for metal to melt, you're wasting time. Set the work order, and go find any of the thousand other tasks one could be doing.

hes just bored of the game in general :( Kinda sucks too I mean he got all he wanted from the game but I guess rblx gambling tds keep him occupied until the next update drops :P thx for the advice.

Build more furnaces?
One furnace with one pal - nice. But two furnaces where you divide the task by 2 - twice as faster anyway. Etc.

a suggestion would be go to either Nexus mods or wemod
you can apply mods to change it as long as one of you is hosting
as the mods are server side so work for the whole server
that would allow you to do whatever you desire in the game and change those stats among many others
if it is NOT your server then this is not viable or advisable however
but for fun with friends it may give you some more miles from an owned title
just a suggestion so feel free to ignore :)

Thanks a million! but he probably just wont play the game until the next big update drops and we play it for like five minutes. Its such a shame too because he spent his money to get me this game and then he ditches it for a roblox td. He does this pretty often and honestly im just a sheep. Like risk of rains returns, vampire survivors, monster hunter world, and just a lot of other games. We usualy just find a game to play together until he finds something on roblox. I mean if I could play bloons with him I would but its apparently just mid compared to this new anime adventures slot machine. Just wait until he finds out about balatro he will lose his shi t.

As others have mentioned, having Pals with high Kindling levels like Jormuntide Ignis will help. Though that in and of itself will only take you so far. Getting them the right passives to increase their potential is also a good idea.

If you have the time and patience to do so, getting a Jormuntide Ignis with Remarkable Craftsmanship/Artisan/Work Slave/Nocturnal would make for a Pal that works 24/7, no sleep necessary.

Thanks for all the help :D but I made this on a whim to try and get him back on palworld but I guess its just anime adventures rn. When the next big update comes then he will come, he doesnt really care abt games much and I think he will fall out of this anime adventures phase in a few months, honestly its kinda sad thinkin abt it. He probably has a massive library of games just rotting on the shelves, and he wants me to play the games with him, so I buy it and then we drop it for some rblx slop. :|

Nah man hes awsome, theres a reason we have been friends for so long. Its just he hyperfixates on a game, and when he does everything else is "gay" and he doesnt want to play it
