breeding for traits is still pretty bad though.

It really seems random, like sure if the parents have the trait there's like a 1% chance more it gets inherited instead I suppose but I promise the game has enough content and consumption of my time that I enjoy to spend on it, without these mechanics. Breeding's random still, ♥♥♥♥.

It's just feels like it's deliberate bloat where it doesn't have to exist. I wish there was more structure or certainty to breeding. I HAVE wasted actual time that would have been spent on fun, if it was more structured.

EDIT: Why do gold traits that neither parents have, have a higher chance of happening when I want a non-rare white trait that they both have to pass down? Right? What planet does a player experience that and go "yeah that's good and fun." The rng skillless challenge I dedicated a base to and now I'm just pooping out cakes so I'm guaranteed it to happen, what did I do wrong to have to wait so long for what I want?

you must be doing it wrong, because its not very hard or difficult. breed parents that only have the skills you want, without extra skills. this includes duplicates of the same skill. any time you are breeding stuff where you need a specific set of skills, its almost certain that you want to fuse them and make them 4 star. and you will guarantee get no less than 1 by the time you have enough to max fuse(unless you are doing something wrong), usually 2 to 4.

if you are min/max, its almost pointless to breed a pal that doesnt have holy burst if its an attacker, and even breeding all 4 skills you want, with a specific attack you want, happens before you have enough to max fuse. you must be doing something wrong, because its extremely easy to get what you want on a pal. unless you are a true glutton for punishment, and you only want a pal with all 4 skills you want, plus holy burst or some other attack move that you have to breed onto your pal, plus it must be an alpha pal, and it has to have great to near perfect IVs.

I'm trying to breed serious, artisan, lucky, work slave anubises. I'm trying to get only two traits on the parent pyrin, (artisan and lucky) and they have to be female because the male parent, an arsox, has serious and workslave. Pyrins for some reason are completely roadblocking me but I haven't been able to get one with just artisan and lucky.

I want 4, my cake factory is making so many that it outpaces any breeding (including philanthropist traits) so I'll 4 star the 4 anubises with the slop for sure and also make more but I'll make philanthropist "food" parents for those anubises. I will say, items in storage being factored into what you can craft (not in your inventory) has been a godsend!

EDIT: Also I could probably use those anubises to breed the traits into other worker pals, a lot of high level breeding calls for anubis.
