Guild chest don't seem to work proprely for me
So, i have other bases with a Guild Chest(no other chests) when i am in one of those bases, my pals will depost items in it, but when im away form the base, they just....stop putiing things in it.

Is there a way to make them depost item swhile i'm not there? Or is it even possible to automate it in a way that i don't hav eto go to those bases once in a while to set those ressourses back in guild chest by myself?

Yeah I feel like guild chest is a little wonky. Also not stowing items in it is a bit annoying. Also wish it was bigger. Still nice to have of course, and I get that its not meant to be your replacement for storage in bases. Just there as a little bit of extra convenience. I think youre just not supposed to use it as your sole base storage.
That's odd. My Pals continue depositing stuff into the guild chest on my mining base while I'm away at the main base.

I will say that a lack of Transporting Pals at my mining base has hampered their ability to do so at times. Often the transporters will be so busy collecting stuff from the ranch that they'll neglect the mines and oil pumps, causing them to stack up and require manual emptying. Increasing the number of good (fast-moving; don't use Wumpos for transporting no matter how high the game says their transporting skill is) transporting Pals at my mining base largely fixed that issue.

In your case, I think the problem's different; it seems that the chunk of the map containing your base is being unloaded when you're away. Are you playing on another person's server or are you hosting your own single-player game?
Another reason could be that when you’re at your base, you naturally bring out your team Pal, which helps with transportation and when you’re not there, the base is missing a transport Pal.

Could be a server thing then, given it's on my friend's server and not single player, seems likely thst's the issue
Seems like the issue was only visual,

The inventory takes a bit of time to update, likely takes much longer on a server, so it seemed like it was not working, but it was fine afterall, just that the ressources being put form other bases takes a long time to be updated

I noticed that too earlier on an official server, I was putting my cakes in the ranch chest, but the counter wouldn’t update despite several attempts. The counter eventually updated later on.
