The level increase on Legendary pals was a bit much
After replaying the game again 6 months later I have noticed that all pals, have increased by at least 10 levels but there isnt any content that was added in those stages of mid-game to balance it out. You now have an awkwardly long grind to go from 35-60 where you used to have some decent pals you could get between 35-45. Before when you reached the lvl35-45 you would be catching pals like anubis, jetraygon, paladius and necromus. But now since they are lvl60 with anubis being the only exception still being a pretty high level the amount of time it takes to grind up to where you can catch them is so agonizing even with 5x exp. It would have been better to leave the current legendary pals where they were and just add new ones to the newer regions. They wouldn't be outclassed they would just be at a more manageable level. I dont know why the levels of all pals had to be increased by at least 10 levels but it wasnt a good choice.

If you want to know a little trick:
run around Sakurajima collecting legendary or ultimate spheres from treasures and trash piles, head to either Jetragon or Frostallion at night, build wooden walls around them while they sleep, and a fire underneath them, and stand back. Wait for their hp to drop down and then start lobbing some spheres. Legendary as early as level 16 or so.

(while it can work with Paladius/Necromus there's a bit more involved to it since Necromus never sleeps)

I actually found that out literally yesterday hours after making this post. I had no idea it would be so easy to stockpile legendary balls.

Just tried that, its not a good strat dude, had a 5% capture rate with legendary balls when they used to be like 20% when he was level 50
It's fine for now. I have another playthrough where I'm trying to main Rushoar, I caught Necromus at level 44 through the power of friendship and this green pump action shotgun I found. It's a matter of collecting higher end Spheres from the Feybreak and Sakurajima islands then using whatever strategy you want to lower their health, honourable or not.

Though it makes me wonder if later on they'll move their exclusive passives to other Pals since if they keep raising the cap it really isn't worth getting Divine Dragon or Lord of the Underworld while Siren of the Void and Invader become easier to obtain.

It's not good on multiple points:
1- Locks the "Legend" passive (which is used a lot in breeding) even longer in fresh playthroughs. Lucky passive could be updated to be an alternative stat wise (and would turn lucky hunting early an actual activity).
2- Higher level pals mean higher level spheres are required, so now to catch Pals from the base island you need to venture into lands super far away to have a chance when previously you didn't
3- They also drop schematics and with the exception of Legendary Rockets, all other schematics from legends have been powercrept to hell.

Its just not a good thing dude, the levels of the legendary pals were fine before. You would normally get to lvl45 and catch these legendary pals on your grind to 50. Now its extremely hard to catch them at the same level and you are stuck using weaker pals to grind your way through the massive headache of the level 50s

1 - I do think Lucky should be buffed to better match the Rainbow tier. As it stands Legend is still a good Passive so I'm fine with waiting a bit longer to get it, for now at least.
2 - So we're not going to address the level 38 Mammorest in the starting area? This is nothing new.
3 - I already mentioned this issue a few months back, they should really move the Pal Armor Schematics to where the Refined ones drop and moves those to lower Alphas. I don't know why anyone would kill Astegon or Lyleen Noct 50 times for Refined Armor when Pal Armor is just around the corner.

They're harder to catch because they have a higher level than before, yes that's how the game works. Clearly level 50 wasn't the "be all, end all" so it's time to adjust your mindset.
There's nothing stopping you from catching four Blazamuts, pumping them with some souls and going to town on Frostallion four times, then using those Frostallions to subdue Jetragon for your shiny bicycle.

I do agree that the reward is slowly not matching the work, but it's fine at the moment. An update is coming and that likely means they'll go up another 5 levels, if the issue with schematics isn't addressed on that update then it's a real problem.

You dont understand what I am getting at. They should have kept the current legendaries where they were and made new ones that are higher level. Theres now a massive exp grind between lvls 40-60 with nothing to speed up the process, with all the good end game pals even further out of reach. They should have at the very least left Jetragon and Anubis where they were since they are a massive point of player progress from player levels 35-50. They could have increased only frostallion, palladius, and necromus and it would have been perfectly fine.

If they increase their levels by 10 each time a new island comes out it will just get worse, I hope they come to their senses and stop increasing already implemented pals levels so that people can still make it to the higher levels at a decent pace. Otherwise those that breed and carry over their op pals from old updates will have the advantage over newer players that just started.

Are you suggesting that mounts for the purpose of travel are inadequate and now that Jetragon is level 60 there's a frustrating gap in that progression at a crucial point where much time is spent travelling? In that case I can see the issue, though I'd hope travel mounts as a whole get improvements.

Bro hes like 10x faster than every other pal besides a select few.

Yeah, I'd agree with this. Prior to getting legendaries the mounts for the most part are super slow. Aside from Fenglope you may as well walk (or rather grapple-jump glide) for all the speed you get out of them (even stacking speed passives). Even Ragnahawk feels like a crawl going back to it after flying a legendary around for a while and by the time you get a decent flier (Shadowbeak at level 47) you're just 1 level away from being able to saddle Frostallion. I'd gladly take any mid-level fast mount, even if it fought like a wet noodle with glass bones.

I really wish the developers would remove those free balls. I dont think ive made my own spheres anymore in a long time. You can just find them so easily, its so stupid. 100% remove the spheres from grounds, trash loots etc. only obtainable from chests as a reward would make it better so people are forced to craft balls. Its not like you need that many balls through out the whole gameplay anyway.

Faleris is available at level 38 and faster than Shadowbeak. Also not too difficult to breed by the time you can craft the saddle.
WIth Runner & Swift it's actually pretty decent (and not too terrible at combat, though a bit fragile).

For ground mounts your best mid-level bets are probably Dazemu or Pyrin (Noct) - both faster than Fenglope.
