Try to launch and command console pops up...can't play...help!

Try to launch game from steam and command console pops up...but the game never launches. This issue only started a week ago, anyone else run into this issue and know how to fix it or a way around it?

the console popping up sounds like the zdev of UE4SS, vanilla games has no consoles poppiing up.
This most likely translates in you having some broken mod. Make sure you clean up your client from broken mods and/or UE4SS.
A manual delete of the game folder followed by a new install makes sure you have a clean, vanilla game to start modding again or play as it is (uninstall with steam does not remove mods btw).

But if you never modded, then do the last step and delete manually the game folder and redownload the game anyway, it will ensure you have a fresh uncorrupted copy.

while you are doing that, head to %localappdata%/pal/saved and delete the "configs" folder so you also redownload fresh settings next time you start up the game

then nothing happens haha

wait, you not starting the game, you starting the dedicated server.

Make sure you start the game itself, not the server :P
