Lock pals from expedition

Hey guys,
is there a way to lock certain pals from going on an expedition?
My Gobfins and my Carry Slaves are locked whenever I need them.

Don't use the auto fill option.
Manually select the pals you send.
The auto fill will pick the pals of the required element and the pals with the highest firepower to send.

I take your answer as it is not possible to lock certain pals from being part of the auto-fill options.

Unless you have an unused base that you can set them in, the auto fill will pick the strongest to send.
As base pals don't get picked.
Or if you put them in the Dimensional Pal storage box they won't get used.
Regular pal box stored pals are free game for the expedition auto fill.

That's very clever.
I wanted to build a recovery base for my raid teams for a while.
Might as well park my supporters there.

what i do is is click the auto fill and then scroll through my palbox for a specific pal or 2 that i'll need for the next 15 mins and remove or replace it for the expedition.

I made 6 lv60 with 40souls to use as power level for expedition. I use lamball, cattiva and chikipi as those are easy to get to 4star

To cut down on manpower I typically get a few select strong Pals with 4* soul (sippy juice) and then fill in the 0/20 element requirement with garbage

At the moment both pals in our party and pals in the dimensional storage box do not get selected for the expedition mission. You can put pals in any of those places -> autofill and run expedition -> go get them back and they won't be on missions.

I do have a suspicion that with the new 3 favorites system they just added, they may be working to implement a measure that allows you to block them from being picked by auto-assign.
But until then, they don't have one yet.

When using auto-assign, if you have a specific Pal you don't want picked, you'll have to go to them in the list and make sure they're unmarked.

This is not true. I tested it last night: Pals in Dimensional storage DO NOT get selected when we use Auto Fill for Expeditions at the moment. And a new patch has not been released today since I played yesterday.

...I'm not talking about the Dimensional Storage.
I'm talking about favorite-ing a Pal in the Palbox. The recent update added three types of favorite-ing. It used to just be one.
And Dimensional Storage is more of a cold storage to keep Pals really put away. It's not really intended to keep Pals from Expeditions, more for... well, a storage for your guild to share.

And an update was released on the 18th. The update that added crossplay also added a few other features, including Favorite 1, 2, and 3.
So, a week or so ago, hence "they just added".
