why can i not fast travel??

I have the option turned on and a couple are blue in the map. however there is no option to travel. do i have to walk up to them??

yes. you can't just fast travel from anywhere, only from the points you have unlocked and your base (from the palbox)

There is a mod to allow fast travel from anywhere: https://www.nexusmods.com/palworld/mods/348

But if you don't want to/can't use the mod, the only way to start fast travel is either the palbox of your bases or the unlocked points.

i get that, but in the map there is no option to travel from ones i have unlocked. for now it seems i have to walk to one to travel???

that's always been the case. you can only fast travel by physically going to a warp point.

Yes walk up to your palbox or to any shrine you have visited and press the fast travel button it prompts you. Then you can teleport to your pal box or any shrine you unlocked. You can't just pull up your map to travel unless you use a mod.

That...is literally what I said. You asked and the first answer I told: "Yes" you have to walk up, and select fast travel.
