I love this update so much
The new research station is definitely my favorite as it fixes isn't only a fun form of progression, but also deals with a bunch of frustrations from prior to the update. For example the oil extractor now being able to work 60 percent faster than it could before after you upgraded it.

I really like the designs of the new pals. Also their abilities are pretty original, with silvegis being my favorite. The only complaint I'd have is the amount of dark type pals added, but this is the case because the island they were added with is called "the dark island".

At first I wasn't into the addition of new and extremely rare passives, but the dopamine you get when obtaining one made them grow on me. Besides they give a great usage to Yakumo.

If there is one thing that I think needs changing is the human ai at the oil rig. They look like they have been lobotomized and when they get knocked off the rig they just lay still in the water while still distracting your pal. Which is another complaint I have. When your pal sets an enemy as it's target, it doesn't seem to want to change it's target until the original target is dead.

Either way I think the devs hit a home run with pretty much all aspects of this update and they definitely deserve to be praised for it.

What a beautiful, well thought out post. Major kudos. Agree on several points. I would always stress the Devs also need to pay attention to the level of polish they can bring to already added content. People appreciate additions, but you also need to make that established content sparkle.

A lot of people bank on things they enjoy from updates getting even smoother as things progress, but often Devs neglect what was left behind.

Pocketpair will earn a very pleased fan out of me once they add in full key binding support. But they are still doing a decent job at the moment keeping things alive.
