Raid Bosses Destroy Palbox

So trying to beat the raid bosses feels nearly impossible because they just one shot my palbox when they get teleported back to the center. Is there any tips you guys have to combat this?

idk how strong the new boss is, but they shouldn't be able to one-shot your palbox unless you have crazy damage settings, or have it placed on an easily destructible foundation.

I have the palbox in a small building away from the boss summoning area, I have never had it damaged.

Try to put the summoning altar as far away from the palbox as you can. Maybe helps keeping the fight further from the box

Dont put the palbox on a constructed platform, the bosses destroy buildings easily but the palbox itself has 20k hp

Have you tried using the cliff trick? Build your base on a cliff with half on and half off, build the summoning altar on the lower part. Generally most of your battle will take place down there and Pal box is safe.

I haven't fought the new boss yet, but in the case of old ones, I simply surrounded the Palbox with a few layers of high metal wall. And as others have said, don't build the Palbox on platforms, if you do, build it on the ground.

other option is to build a base out in the middle of nowhere and use that just for summoning, only need about half of it, so you can build walls/gates with the box behind it and the summoning circle on the other side, use the palbox side for like an incubator den or something thats easy to replace if it does get destroyed

I fought Xenolord in an open field for about 9 minutes. The palbox didn't take damage, I don't think it took damage from any of the raid bosses.

Yeah no, I call BS the only way they one shot it is you just never repaired it and it was already on its last leg. You not using repair kits doesn't make it unfair.

When I fought Xenolord it was in an open field right on the palbox and he did like 1k - 2k damage to it. Done all the raids the same way and never had a palbox get destroyed at all, just damaged a bit but no where near close to destruction. Like others pointed out you've probably used a foundation and that's the last thing you want to do.

Pretty sure the boss can't hit the palbox directly but it can hit the structure it's on so you would want to just place it on natural terrain and it's invulnerable to the raid boss.

I can confirm the the boss can damage the palbox directly, just no where near enough to destroy it.
