Can't zoom out?

So, I recently bought the game and started playing. The first thing I noticed: no way to zoom out further. While the game as is isn't unplayable for me, I would absolutely love the option to be able to zoom out a bit further or somehow adjust the scale/resolution of my screen in-game. As said, it's not a 'won't play because of it' thing, but it really bugs the heck out of me.

Edit: Literally just figured out a minute ago that I CAN increase the zoom distance when riding on a mount, but not for my character when walking. I want to be able to zoom out as much as I am when mounted, that would be such an improvement.
