They are different in many ways.
As a local dedicated server player i don't see any problems with pal strarve even when i'm offline. There is probably server setting for this case, that allow to players stay in game, even they are offline.
There is only one thing that stop working, when player offline in this case - when you have any dead pals in pal box, as the timer stop ticking when player in offline. Everything else work just fine. You probably should check you server settings, if you have this problems.
P.S. I don't sure how this work for coop mode tho, because game don't render anything outside active player area, so world should be in sleeping state in this areas. Tho i think there is some server settings, that can at least try to fix it.
If you play on a dedicated server or you host a server locally yourself, as long as the server runs, it will be as if the pals are constantly working etc.
If you join someone elses coop world, the same will apply.
i know how servers run im not dumb
IT IS a bug because before the update the pals will feed themself even if you are offline , as long as the pot is full of food , after the update the pals will not take food from the pot the moment you disconnect ,even if there is food
meaning , they will starve then they get sick EVERYDAY
i took all my pals out now untill they fix this hopefuly
Agreed. It's a bug for sure.
Was hoping it would be fixed in this morning's update, but not yet.
Doubt they have the tester team or anything that the AAA developers do. (To be fair, large titles are not without their issues either)
They will fix it soon, and it doesn't take away (for me anyways) from a great game which I am really enjoying during this festive break. Once these bugs are sorted, it will be even better.
It's definitely not an issue starting a new game, all my pals are full on food and sanity, 0 complaints.
of cors devs dont care about those serious bugs
