Random mode is fun, BUT
So, I've started a new Random game, and I'm enjoying it for the most part, however some things need to be changed.

I'm all for the high level Pals being absolutely everywhere, and watching pretty much all Pal's go berserk and nuts on each other like a Grand Theft Auto 3 Cheat, but their Aggro range is absolutely bat sh-t crazy. The gimmick of having to sneak around to even remotely make it anywhere wore off after I was just trying to attempt to start up a base. Everytime I would go to build something, I'd have to use use the Teleport to go somewhere else, and teleport back, and I have to continue to do this, because of how the aggro range is managed.

Another issue is that monsters seemingly spawn any where, and everywhere, which again it's not bad, but this also comes into play while trying to make a base, since monsters will just randomly spawn inside the range of your base. I don't think Pals, or enemies of any sort should be able to spawn inside your build radius, it becomes tedious, especially since they're all lvl 50+ for the most part, and insanely aggressive. Enemies/Pals should be restricted from spawning within a certain distance of your build radius. Just now, I had to build a wall to try and keep them out, which doesn't work, because they just spawn inside the wall anyways.

The Pal pathing is another annoying thing about Random mode. Pals will just roam, and walk anywhere, if I don't close to the door on my base, they just walk inside and setup camp, until I Port out, and port back again. Again this becomes very tedious to have to do this every single time I go back to my base, and Pals are spawned inside, or just roaming around freely.

Love that Pals are thrown everywhere, it makes it enjoyable, however, it's kind of silly that there's almost no low level Pals that spawn nearby, this makes finding things like Lamballs insanely rare which does add the fun factor, and makes me want to keep an eye out for Pals that can give me beginning materials from the Ranch, but again, I can barely run into anything that I can capture, let alone kill at any given time. I feel that the Pals that randomly spawn should be varied in levels, and not just because you find a certain Pal at "X level" in the base game, they should spawn in random mode as that level. It would be nice if Pals scaled nearby you in levels or at least within a certain ranged of your base. I'm really having to go out of my way just to find anything I can capture, or kill. I suppose on the plus side, I can always get other monsters to kill each either, and try to snipe the materials before getting sniped myself.

All in all, enjoying the random mode, but it needs a lot of work. I don't want to be limited into finding a small hole away from other Pals just to setup a base for fear of everything being blown up. The biggest issue is the Pal Pathing, and spawning inside of your bases though. Would love to see that changed ASAP.

Not even sure how you're supposed to find any caves you can enter... They're all level 58. how is someone who starts a brand new game mode, supposed to even do caves to get the purple tech points? lol?

Sounds like you picked option 3 instead of option 2.

Ah Yeah, I did choose completely random. That's the fun of it. Haven't explored anywhere else except the spawn location though.

I would assume other biomes are going to have diff leveled caverns then? And not just all lvl 58+ >.>

Yeah, if you go completely random, everything can happen. Pals will have their proper levels. E.g. if you find Kingpaca, it will be in the 40s, because that's their usual level.

You can still find every pal in the second setting as far as I saw, but their level progression is more natural. E.g. I saw lvl20 Blazehowls in the starting area.

Found a lvl 13 cave, with level 24 enemies...

I don't know what I was actually expecting, and WHY I was expecting it.
