can xbox gamepass players play with steam players?

This is the intention for cross play at least by looking at pocketpair's FAQ

"We are planning to support the following cross-play pattern in future updates.

・ Xbox and Steaｍ => cross-play unavailable in the current state"

well its one of their plan since game has been published but its sad to see they didnt achieve it yet:roflanCry:

Latest patch notes indicate there was a bug that let PS5 players play with Xbox, which has since been disabled as they haven't finished the feature yet. Hopefully crossplay is on the horizon!
