About work suitability enhancement books

Has anyone found any yet? And if so, is there a limit to how many a pal can use? Or are we stuck with pals only being able to read the book to get the +1 only once?

I would also like to know the answer. I've heard you can find them at the end of dungeons, in supply drops, and on the oil rig, but I have yet to find any.

Played around with em using a mod. You can upgrade any pal's skill to level 5, but you can't give a pal a skill it doesn't have. IE no watering Foxsparks.

I've only found one by encountering and talking to a level 60 "Friendly Pal Tamer" in a tunnel on Feybreak. The entrance was located at -915, -1320 in the crystallized tree area. I tried talking to them again, but they just repeated their best wishes dialog.

I can also confirm that the electricity book he gave me won't let me boost an existing 4-star orzerk, and it can't be used on pals that can't generate electricity.

I've yet to find any other books.

even if you can boost them to 5 with the books, you probably shouldn't waste such a rare item when you can condense instead. i haven't found any yet myself, but also i feel like i haven't spent much time looking. definitely want to max out some smaller pals for my base though. i'd love to have my mining taken care of by lv5 depresso.

That's what I was hoping, like to get a lv5 Foxparks for the furnace and stove stuff!

If it helps I found a cave at -910, -1320 with a friendly pal tamer inside that gave me a cooling book.

That's what I was hoping, like to get a lv5 Foxparks for the furnace and stove stuff!

That appears to be the point of the enhancement books. I kinda wish the books were added to the dog coin vendor as a means of grinding them out. I absolutely like the idea of my favorite not-quite-meta pals being able to keep pace with those best available pals.

Having a level 5 pal like foxsparks is actually better due to less food, pathing issues and size to worry about!

Edit: Oh and they apparently come from expeditions as well
