How randomized pal spawn work?
There is the option to randomize by region and full random. I understand the full random (does it count alpha pals though?) but what does the "region" mean?

Just created a map with "region random" and found a lot of random pals with the Alpha icon, why is that a thing? They aren't big either

i tried a full random map... it was chaos.
first pal i saw was level 31, luckily there was a somewhat friendly level 42 guy nearby, i ran to a few times and he'd shoot the bad guys, but i still died a bunch of times, i had it set to not drop anything on death, managed to eventually build a small base and got to a the 2nd teleport symbol.... died about 952 times in the process though. :)
it needs some work, to not spawn level 40+ and even 50+ aggressive pals in the starting area. they were mostly alphas too.

i did a start as a regional random and so far, much better, still died a couple times.
i definitely like it, but wouldn't play with drops turned on, at least until you level up a good amount.
they did also do another small patch today, not sure what it was for, could be to tame down the number of alphas? did seem they went away after that, but i didn't check the fully random game again.

My experience so far in my "region random". There were aggressive lvl20+ at the start, with some incineroam level 10+ roaming around too. Teleported to different locations after dying, and its not that there are a lot of alphas, but that some enemies seem to ONLY spawn as Alpha. Found multiple astegon in different beach areas from the south to the north area of the map, there were a lot, and every single one was Alpha. Same with other pal idk the name, every one of those were Alpha.
But since there are incineroams at the start of the game and Astegons in random beaches, I don't really understand the Full random/region difference.

Ok I think the Full random means that Pals have their original level?

That icon just signifies that they are dangerous to you. I think it is applied to every pal that is more than 10 levels higher than you.

I've encountered it a lot before the patch.
