The newly added oilrig between the Penking and the Warsect Bossfight at the autum region, destroys the entire atmopshere and scenery of the beach where my base is located at.
Now i gotta wake up every morning and look at that crappy industrial crap T_T
Please move that thing to another part of the map as soon as possible!

I mean, it's not like they knew you built your base there, and the game isn't done yet so you should expect the unexpected. Either move your base, mod it out yourself, or just deal with it.

Not for nothing, they did warn that some bases built in places would be subjected to this kind of stuff as more content got added. That said, I do think they should give more notice when a specific area established in game is going to change up so that people have time to adjust bases or something...

hahaha, yeah i saw a big rig a bit close to the starting zone on the upper right section of the map. I guess that's what the OP meant? i was wondering if i was going crazy or if this existed here before the update.

wherever thye move it, chances are some player has a base nearby so nowhere is perfect.

Mentally prepare yourself, the Map is gonna change an AWFUL lot over the EA time span and even beyond.

Whole bases will be wiped out by some changes. Be thankful its just your scenery effected and not a buncha mountains and forests that have overgrown your base.
