Electric and Ice Organs on ranch

On the ranch you can get Fire Organs.
On the ranch you can get Venom Glands.
On the ranch you can get Pal Fluids.

Why can't I passively get Ice and Electric Organs at the ranch?

The game is in early access. Probably, in future updates new pals that will give organs will be added. If I'm not mistaken, venom gland were also added to the ranch only in the latest update with capricity noct.

That being said you can flat out buy them, and you should be able to break the economy before those organs really become important. Electric organs can be bought from the merchant at approximately 76, -475 in the "Small Settlement. Ice Organs at approximately 357, 347 at Duneshelter.

Yes, it's obvious that the developers aren't active here, but players would be naive to assume they don't read posts. Thanks to his question it may very well be addressed in another future patch update.

If you don't have yet the coin assembly line, craft some nails and sell them to the vendors, then buy the organs you need.

because you can buy them for chump change from merchants with very easily farmed gold coins (Ore mining site II, gold coin production line)

I understand that. That's how I get out of the situation.

But I don't think it's logical. Some organs are farmed at the ranch, some are not. That's weird.

It really isn't that weird, the games early access. You either catch every pal to see what it does or you don't bother, like most players and end up googling it or buying them elsewhere.

Well, we don't know exactly what the organ is. I mean, it's not needed for cooking, and the buildings and crafting items that require it don't look like anything that involves flesh or actual organs.
In the case of Flambelle, the context of the description suggests that it cries magma, which can be collected. So, it looks like solidified magma tears. Also, in the picture, the fire organ also looks like a piece of burning magma (just like the other organs look more like mineral than guts or something). In the case of Kelpsea, I don't know, maybe they also secrete hot fat or resin or something.
It is possible that these are even formations that their body or stomach produces, similar to how kidney stones are formed and come out with... well... they doing they natural things...

In fact most of them didn't have ranch drops when the game first released. That was added later. Give it some time they probably will add the rest at some point. Personally I'm hoping that they give Shroomer and Noct a ranch drop on Mushrooms/Cave Mushrooms/Strange Mushrooms since those are kind of annoying to farm manually, i mean you have expeditions but those don't give nearly enough. Plus you kind of need Shroomer for the SAN boosting effect but they're kind of useless in terms of work suitability.

I agree, there should always be options! I'm surprised the ranch odesn't provide those- but I also think it's weird that you get organs from a farm....
They just grow extra organs... and harvest them from themselves without cutting themselves....

I'd like to throw in that it's weird that you can farm/ranch bones, but not horns. I mean... they're the same material, and horns should be easier to farm/get than bones.

And please don't suggest that I start slaughtering Pals. I despise that part of the game if I'm honest and I wish it wasn't part of it. It feels so incredibly out of character for a game like this.

I would guess they want electric organs to be an endgame money sink since you can buy them and many endgame weapons need a huge amount of them for ammo.

Through the Pal Expedition Station, you can get any item, including Ice and Electric Organs, by sending out your Pals on expeditions. You can get anything that way, except Hexolite Quartz and Predator Cores.
