Are Alpha pals worth it?

I know Alpha pals have more health, at least. But is it worth being a bigger target?

it purely depend on the pal in question. some pals can get away with it but some like jormuntid get legit too big to work.

that being said there 2 ways to use alpha to the max:
A: in raid bosses. aka perfect pals to cheese the fight a bit more. there gonna get hurt anyway so might as well get more HP.
B: for expidations since alpha get more firepower by defult.
i have like 7 alpha anubises that i'm condensing and there already cut the time for expedation by 10 minutes approximately and they are not done.

Bigger means an easier target to hit in most raids. Even though you get a 25% or so hp buff you also end up with a bigger hitbox (tamed alphas don't get the 66% damage reduction wilds have) so moves like holy burst will go from doing most of your pal's hp to all of it.

The last update modified pal sizes. All pals are the size of little pals like flambelle in regards to working @ base. Now they go through doors and it's hilarious.
