In the future, will there be more Pals & Variants?

As Title, after playing for a straight 20 hours (and 7 the day before).
Enjoyed myself to much exploring the World and Building, Relocating, Rebuilding & Transferring Bases Twice.
Just find it odd to see the same Pal at Unrelated locations to their usual.

I imagine eventually we'll see more, but hopefully Pocketpair focuses on improving the game overall first.

Devs said once that when we reach the big three in the middle we will have half of the planned game.
