Please add books that increase a mount's speed for more freedom of choice

I was really happy to see that there are now Applied Technique books that allow pals to learn skills that they otherwise do not have. This opens up the possibility to keep your favorite pals at your bases instead of just the best ones for specific skills.

I would really like to see books released that can increase the speed of a ground or a flying mount up to a certain maximum.

The reason is I feel very trapped in only ever using the fastest available flying/ground mounts, despite them not being my favorite looking mounts. My favorite flying mount for example is Selyne. Sitting on a moon is amazing, but the mount is so slow, even when maxed, compared to the endgame flyers that I just won't use it.

Yes, I do that for all my mounts. My favorite mounts are still far slower than the best ones in-game, which discourages me from using them.

I see your point, what about Fenglope or Rayhound? they are among the fastest mount in game don't like any of both?

As fly i personally have a Ragnahawk with swift, runner, nimble and musclehead, while it's true is not as fast as jetdragon, it's fast enough for me.

It'd feel so much better if their base speed are bumped to at least the speed of a jormuntide as the base line. Right now Selyne flies much slooooower than a player can sprint at base speed, and Yakumo is even worse. That ain't gonna feel good to stroll around with for sure.

But, eh, that's none of my problem since I go around with Hangyu and only mount up when I'm about to commit some war crimes.

I keep thinking it would be nice to have some sort of endgame potion or saddle/Equipment that would make slower mounts at least somewhat faster.
Heck, I'd not even mind an "epic" saddle for each pal that you can upgrade to under specific circumstances.

I love Kitsun and have a really fast one (nimble, Swift, runner, Eternal Engine combo) but it still feels slow to run around with after riding about on my Azurmane.

So i fully understand wanting to be able to upgrade their speed. I do believe it should be something for endgame though.
