Yes, I do that for all my mounts. My favorite mounts are still far slower than the best ones in-game, which discourages me from using them.
I see your point, what about Fenglope or Rayhound? they are among the fastest mount in game don't like any of both?
As fly i personally have a Ragnahawk with swift, runner, nimble and musclehead, while it's true is not as fast as jetdragon, it's fast enough for me.
Selyne is indeed one of my favs too
But, eh, that's none of my problem since I go around with Hangyu and only mount up when I'm about to commit some war crimes.
Heck, I'd not even mind an "epic" saddle for each pal that you can upgrade to under specific circumstances.
I love Kitsun and have a really fast one (nimble, Swift, runner, Eternal Engine combo) but it still feels slow to run around with after riding about on my Azurmane.
So i fully understand wanting to be able to upgrade their speed. I do believe it should be something for endgame though.
