Outside that I do worry that the performance on lower end pcs would definitely drop. I do think they've been improving it over time but if most the water had swimming/diving spots, that be a lot of new ground and detail.
I highly doubt they just walk away from a massive money printer id be willing to pay for dlc and many people are too
heck yes for dlcs, evolution of content and ton more cute pals!
Considering they said in the same patch that the roadmap was released, the game is reaching 1.0 and they are adding in the "Ending scenario", thats a completed game.
Yeah they may make a DLC, but its not gonna be much more revolutationary than Feybreak, which is just more landscapes we are kinda already familiar with
