it's very niche but still has value in such scenarios.
500% would almost be worth it too me for some niche scenarios, but idk is it really faster than gutting some mimogs, especially with the new splatterina passive? Or to perhaps iterate that better, is it really worth redirecting your egg efforts for the boost?
Its not like you can abuse it early game, so idk why its so weak for the effort it requires.
If you consider that you could theoretically skip fighting an enemy twice to get the same amount of exp or more (because of exp reduction for being a higher level) then it makes sense to do it like this.
two fights would get you 960,000 for 8 level 1 pals with omascul
or two fights without omascul and you get something like 600,000 exp for 5. (assuming an 80% drop in exp because your levels are much higher)
Test Subjects: 2 Lamballs; Lv. 3 // 0 Exp; caught -> palbox.
Lamball A = 3 Omasculs; 1 star; 133% boost
Lamball B = 0 Omasculs; Default Exp Gain
Victims: 2 Feybreak Warriors; Level 53
First Test: Training Manual (M)
Second Test
And of course, 64,246 * 0.33 = 85,447.18 so we see where the exp boost comes from.
waddling on a spooky penguin sounds chill
But....
One other thing that makes such pals unable to reveal their potential anyway - is the banal ability to crank up experience gain settings up to x20.
This is the same as how improvements to egg incubation are not relevant if we can set the hatching speed to 0.
But I'm not against these features, because without them, even the most basic settings seem like a hell of a time-consuming process.
