I wonder how future updates will affect randomization though, if the new stuff will only be shuffled with itself of will completely reshuffle the whole map. (Kelpsea beach is Mimog beach in my seed so I'm farming hard just in case lol)
When you die (or hit Respawn) while Multiplayer mode is turned on, all the respawn points around the world are active.
Meaning you might have better luck in Forgotten Island and other beginner areas.
(My Kelpsea Beach just has Lunaris)
Thanks to the randomizer, I ended up catching Level 25 Astegons near the Bamboo Grove. And I saw near them a Level 29 Blazamut, meaning I'll soon be adding that to my roster.
Tarantiss was near the beginning area, and so became a vital member of my base.
-----
Drawback though, is things like Chikpi being exclusive to Sakurajima and the Feybreak area, meaning I had to get creative with farming eggs (I had to buy a Chikpi from a Pal merchant).
And I still can't find regular Kelpsea, so I can't farm Pal Fluids.
My solution was to capture a wandering merchant, and use him to buy Pal Fluids, until I can find where Kelpsea are.
(Breeding is an option, but that's tricky, as I only just yesterday found bought a Beegarde to get the honey to make cakes)
If you play with randomize by region min and max level of pals locked to the same level across same region in default game. So if you have region with max level of 38 in default game, you never get anything higher than thas with randomize by region.
Alpha world bosses randomize across whole world, tho.
If you play with full random, all things become way harder. Min level of pal locked to the min level this pal spawn in default game, so if this pal in default game spawns only in sakurajima, you never find them with low level in wilds.
Dungeons work a little different, as randomized across whole range. So you can get 60 level boss at the end of 13 level dungeon or vice versa. You might reset spawn before you get something you can deal with.
Overall full random way harder, as you need to deal with high level pals from very beginning. But overall its more fun play, as you need use some unique tactics to survive.
Randomize by region overall not that different from default game from difficulty perspective, only difference is different pals in regions, but if you know pals and have enough base knowlarge over the game its not harder.
For now I think is best to just play the fix spawn. I think Ark spawn system is the best system out there for any sand box or open world.
good seed
