Is there an easy way to pass on 4 traits?
I've been breeding a Nyafia that has:
Demon God / Ferocious / Musclehead
with another one that has
Demon God / Ferocious / Vampiric

and if the child doesn't come out an utter disappointment then it only ends up with 3/4 traits. All the passives I want are there but trying to get vampiric onto it has been impossible. I've gone through like 50 cakes

Literally as I posted this they pooped an egg out that finally gave me the outcome (apparently all I gotta do is complain)

Question still stands though is there an easier way?
Apparently a 10% chance to pass on up to 4 unique passives from the combined passives of each parent. Hey at least you're not going for 100/100/100 Potential and Alpha on top of it (0.108% chance at best). Anyway it's a gamble, and once you know you're gambling you're happy.

Edit:
Yesterday I was hatching Dumuds and thinking it would be better if these somehow had Demon God and then actually 3 seconds later the one I hatch has Demon God.

That 10% felt like .01% luckily I have 2 pals down and 3 more to go for my team. No interest in spending 300 hours breeding every pal for every base all perfectly. Palworld is just killing my time till Abiotic Factor updates on the 4th

Its a 10% chance. If you're going for IV's I.e, perfection, 2.16%

If you're an active player, yes there is a much easier way, yakumo. The odds of all 4 will still be low, but since you can actively chase this dragon you will get the pal quicker. Since Nyafia is in Fey dungeons (usually in a group), you can chase the other wonderful work suitability dragon if you're at this point.

I've only bred to pass down rare passives like lucky/legend and condensation.

PS yakumo is a common egg, so fast to get a 4 star

100/100/100 can be easily done by breeding doggy chest and killing with butcher knife for the coins then you buy the IV elexirs.

As for the alpha tho good luck =P

The solution to getting 4 passives on their cat is to get the 4 said passives on a Yakumo and mass catch Nyafia in hopes of getting it that way? Like I agree to get Yakumo with passive combos you want anyway but the advice here isn't entirely sound at this moment? Also it's a 30% chance to pass on each passive (I hope it's not rolled per passive) so that would be 4x30% rolls for a 0.81% chance and it can't replace passives on wild Pals so the odds are even lower. Even if you mass catch those odds are terrible. I don't think Yakumo can entirely replace breeding but it definitely streamlines the process by getting good parents and kick starting your work force.

Try not to have more than 4 traits total between parents
From my understanding its best to have two traits you want on each parent seems to be what gives me the best outcome so far. like one nyafia having demon god and musclehead while the other parent has ferocious and vampiric. you'll have more nyafia's pop up with all four. i dont get the logic behind it. youtubers seem to have the same opinion on this two trait idea. personally i feel that it really works since i pull out more with the four traits passed down. its just a hassle to get two parents with only two traits u want each that dont overlap.. since you dont want them to have the same traits but its not too hard.

idk it's been working well for me, most of my work-force is simply a matter of condensation at this point. YMMV, its all gambling.

Do they actually give dog coins when we butcher them?
I remember trying, but I haven't seen them give dog coins when butcher them. At least not the ones we breed.
It takes forever to breed traits that is just becomes not worth it, you might as well use mods if you are playing in your own world / not a shared server.

Whoever you quoted did not read the information correctly

They don’t dog drop coins if you “put them down inhumanly by knife or conveyer”

They only drop dog coins if you find and capture/KO them in the wild

Only time they can drop it is through mods

Yeap. That's why I decided to ask them what they meant.

Unless they've changed it recently you're wrong. My last session I played the way I obtained dog coins was by mass producing them and juicing them all in the conveyer.
idk if this is a bug or not but I've noticed too that when chain breeding pals "remember" previous generations. Even being several generations bred out from the originals I caught I'm still picking up those passives from the first generation quite frequently (some of these are rainbow passives as well so i really shouldn't be seeing them with the consistency that I am). So unless you start with fully clean breeders it seems like you can still pick up those traits you don't want.
