Messing with Randomized spawn location setting
So im trying to make it so palls spawns are randomized but....i semi softlocked my game because high level aggressive pals are spawning at almost all the main spawn points, is it possible to randomize the pals but not the levels?

As for pal random they work the same way.
1)Randomize by region lock min and max level for pals as same values as the pals have in same region in default settings.
So if you have a region with max level pal of 38 - you never get anything higher than this in this region. Same goes for min level. So you can get level 4 shadowbeak, for example.
There one exception for this - world alpha bosses ignore this rule set and can be any level at all. This is same as in default settings, all bosses are same, this only change their location to random.

2)Full randomizer lock min level for same level, as a min level of same type pal spawn in default settings, so pals from sakurajima can't be any lower level then same counterpart from default settings. Same goes for feybreak and any other region.
For example - you never find low level naffia, as they only spawn in feybreak in default settings and their min level is 52, so you never find anything below this point in full randomizer.
World alpha bosses work same way as in region random, so full random here.
Dungeon is somewhat special - it allow to spawn quite low levels boss pals, but mostly same rule set as in open world. Last boss, however, is different story. Its fully randomized and don't have any affection to dungeon level as it is. So you can get 55+ end game boss in level 13 dungeon, so you need to run back and forth to reset it to the point until you get something you can defeat.
Dungeon pals can be any level, at least i saw there some low levels boss pals, so if you want to find and catch something good dungeons basicly the best way to do so.

Anyway i hope this help ppl to understand a difference between randomizer settings a little better.

I've had iffy to manageable results with some seeds using the "by region" setting. I haven't found a good seed for the "Full Random" setting, though. >.<

ohhh i might have to turn on by region because i was getting level 40 palls in the starting zone destroying me
Just a heads up, the seed is important for "by region". Or it seems to make more of a difference from my tests, anyway.

That being said, you'll still get destroyed if the seed say... Spawns a Jet Dragon, a beegarde army and several BellaNoirs at the windswept hills / beginner zone, but depending on the seed, they might be lvl 10 instead of 50-60. A small improvement, but still... I wouldn't wish THAT seed on anyone. >.<

beginner area was full of those dudes with guns LOL its like a battle royall
Keep the world but make the settings easier until you get your footing if you can play that way. So maybe lower the damage to player until you got your footing? I love complete randomization in this game it's fun but more of a how to survive at first sort of way.

I learned a neat trick tonight.
If you turn on Multiplayer mode in your game, when you die (or hit "Respawn") you can access the other respawn locations.

So, you might try Forgotten Island or Ice wind hill or such.
You might have better luck there.
(Once you turn Multiplayer back off any unvisited respawn points will vanish, but if you activate a regular warp statue, they'll remain (plus any map area you've exposed, thus the respawn points))
