so i should not do it if i plan to do other stuff on my pc, gotcha, thanks
This would entirely depend on your PC Specs.
I high end PC could run a server and do other things.
Streaming would be perfectly fine if your Internet can handle the load.

Playing games while hosting a dedicated server would require a nice chunk of Ram 32gb+
pending on the games your playing along side the hosting. Might get potential CPU impact since your sharing half the CPU with the game hosting.

Yes it will hurt your performance by quite a bit.
Not sure why everyone is so fixated on running their own servers when you can literally get them for a few bucks nowadays ^^

look if have another PC that even is a little older that is what i do. I see you want to play with 10 people though, thats quite a few and could use a good amount of resources.

What county do you live in, cause you could rent from a game hosting server site, or you could get a VPS and set the server up on that. European prices are generally cheaper then US.

We are running ours of off Gportal.
So far no issue just make sure to set the server tick rate in the settings to 60 ... for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up reason its at 10 as default.

I am not a fan of nitrado so i don't usually recommend them.

But there are so many and most of them are just fine.

Shockbyte i heard good things about too

Apexhosting

But i think Gportal is the cheapest.

It also depends on how many people you are playing with and how many different guilds.

Since the more guilds the more bases the more bases the more ram you want. But up to 10 - 12 players the default stuff is usually fine.
I personally use Host Havoc and have had no issues with the several games i play.
They even allow me to swap game server types mid month sometimes it may cost 1-3 dollars if its a more high end server but usually i swap between Conan, 7days, Palworld, and soul mask and its about al the same cost per month.
