Speed/Stamina Passives Question
Do move speed passives change how fast stamina is spent flying/running? I'm debating between just going all speed passives or waiting to eventually get Eternal Engine (which I'm getting very unlucky with :angrychillet:)
Like, do speed passives let you go farther, shorter, or the same distance as you'd be able to fly/run without them?

Ok, I'm not too sharp, I realized I have a Dazemu with Runner and another without. I ran a single circle around my base with both, the Runner one was just faster. The negligible "extra distance" Runner got was probably just because I was less precise with my turning from going faster. Even if it was genuine extra distance, I doubt it would add up to anything relevant. Sorry to cause clutter!
Why would move speed increase stamina?

It's true you can go the same distance using less stamina, but that's how speed works.

If stamina loss is linked to time running rather than distance, you'd run farther by going faster. Or, I thought maybe they'd increase stamina loss for more speed since IRL it takes more energy to go faster. I wasn't really sure how they determined stamina depletion is all, so I wasn't sure how speed passives interacted with it.
Speed pots having noting to do with movement speed. Read them again, it's increasing your work speed.

Speed pots? I meant Speed Passives, like Swift and Nimble. Sorry - but thanks! :slimetabby:
Oh, I got ya. My bad. I admit I glanced at this and got confused.

I actually just built my Chillet to have Eternal Engine and Infinite Stamina. The up side compared to the speed passives (perfect speed Frostallion Noct is my fav) is you can sprint for a lot longer. I have been using one that just had enteral engine for a while, but I've not used the perfect one much, I'm working on other things and have another A team.

To me, it's tiff for tat. Being able to sprint longer is essentially having a higher base speed.

No worries! :slimehappy:
I've decided to go with all-speed passives for my current one (Faleris Aqua, I wanted a Water) since I'm constantly hopping on and off, so being able to fly for longer doesn't help as much... I'm very easily distracted.
(It's totally not because I can't be bothered to wait anymore for Eternal Engine to show up. One day... one day.)
Also, it's funny you mentioned Chillet, because I just started using Chillet Ignis! Already having a blast with my winter coat weasel, she's so cute!
