It's true you can go the same distance using less stamina, but that's how speed works.
I actually just built my Chillet to have Eternal Engine and Infinite Stamina. The up side compared to the speed passives (perfect speed Frostallion Noct is my fav) is you can sprint for a lot longer. I have been using one that just had enteral engine for a while, but I've not used the perfect one much, I'm working on other things and have another A team.
To me, it's tiff for tat. Being able to sprint longer is essentially having a higher base speed.
I've decided to go with all-speed passives for my current one (Faleris Aqua, I wanted a Water) since I'm constantly hopping on and off, so being able to fly for longer doesn't help as much... I'm very easily distracted.
(It's totally not because I can't be bothered to wait anymore for Eternal Engine to show up. One day... one day.)
Also, it's funny you mentioned Chillet, because I just started using Chillet Ignis! Already having a blast with my winter coat weasel, she's so cute!
