FIX THE NEW BUILD BUG.
I keep having to roll back my save file because of this stupid perma-flashing "New" on the build menu when there is NOTHING NEW TO LOOK AT.

Just remove the damn "New" animation if you can't fix the bug. Then we can at least learn the techs and not give a crap if your back-end understands whether we've looked at it already or not.

I know what he's talking about.

Sometimes there's a bug where your build button is constantly flashing on screen indicating you have a new building you can make that you haven't looked at. But when you check, there's nothing new. It never goes away.

Huh, I haven't seen that.
Thank you for explaining it.

Chances are, they'll fix that as soon as possible.
Though it'd be better to report that in their Discord.
Happened to me, and reported it with the tab of "report bugs" but i guess an additional report in their discord is worth it too.

It's been in the game since the beginning. The antique furniture set was responsible for it before the updates, now the Japanese foundation set also does it. Something to do with the game not changing the value to 1 when you look at it or something.

They'll never fix it, though. It would take a dev like five minutes, but nah.
It's enough to log out and log back in, at least for my own experience, to make the "new" animation on the construction tabs disappear when this happens.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work for me. I even tried restarting the entire game and it still didn't fix it. I had to roll-back the save to a time when I hadn't learned the blueprints.

Just ignore it. Out of all the things that need fixing in the game, it's like the very bottom priority.

Can't ignore it. I'm one of those people. It may not be a super problematic bug, but it has also been in the game for a year AND it's a five-minute fix.

I can understand why it bugs you, I'll be super annoyed if that happens to me and the animation never disappears.

Please use the ingame bug report system, they really listen to feedback reported that way (as they proven by fixing tons of stuff players reported) and hopefully in next update this is included in the list of fixes.
