Palworld , need a bit more imo. Hope the devs do so
I'm having fun with Palworld! But I feel like something's missing. I get the whole "stranded on a beach/wake up in an unfamiliar place, unsure of where we are, in a strange world" vibe—kind of like the MMO New World. However, I think the game should lean more into that style of lore. They could focus more on quests, hints, and opportunities for exploration. Imagine going on grand adventures, uncovering hidden paintings, and feeling like Indiana Jones.

It would also be great if there were cities with NPCs—people walking around or maybe living in hiding for us to discover, or we get hunted by npc/bot or we meet others who is trying to build their own town or get pals. Right now, the world can feel a bit empty and lonely. Who really wants to be the last person alive on Earth, with no one else around? Having more life in the world would make the experience much richer.

How can you be the last person alive if you constantly run into hostile human NPCs?

I wouldn't be surprised if towns where to get a little more lively in a future update too, but it's not really necessary.

You even get visits from wandering merchants. Not sure how much you played but while the other NPC humans aren't walking around, they do exist and some tell you a little bit about the world.

Besides, the story isn't finished yet I think. Or can we actually get to THE tree by now? Haven't played much lately.
just started playing again since steam launch. i think there's been a few more added npcs. definitely never seen the samurai peeps. then there's the wanted bounty people.
There are.. npc settlements? Bandit camps? Structures and even npc bosses and a bounty system to get rewards from them.

There are cities and villages, with merchants, and even villagers.
i dont care at all going around and find paintings like indiana jones, i't s a monster catching game not an archaeology game.
Well, it is still in early access, so expect things to change a lot between now and the full release. But I kind of like the deserted island, lost wilderness feel of the game. Especially all the ruins. I am hoping there will be more clues about who built those, and why they were abandoned.
All the NPCs, Camps or Towns are super static, it doesn't feel like a real place, just "old" school dumb NPCs
