Question about Serenity

I wonder if Serenity works when we are mounting the Pal or does it work for all including when the pal is fighting unmounted, does anyone know?

serenity only affect the active skill and not the partner skill. You can see the cooldown on the active skill difference between pal with no serenity or with it.

Oh I know that, I was just wondering if by Active Skill it meant the Skills that the player manually activates or does Pal’s auto casts counts too
