Oil rig 3 loot IS NOT WORTH IT

I did the entire oil rig, destroyed all the turrets and anti-air lasers

killed every single person

and then killed the attack helicopter.

My reward is 2 ancient civilization cores, rare plasma cannon schematic, 2 burden lotuses and some measly oil, lol. Oh and some 20 plasma cartridges but it costed well over 100 of those just to get the reward in the first place.


after like 50 times trying and failing I had to basically "cheat" by setting my damage to x5 and setting their damage to x0.1 if I did this as intended 1:1 or on hard 1:2 this is literally impossible and the loot is not even remotely worth this.


Not to mention the mini chests around the oil rig aren't even worth it it's some training manuals and a giant pal soul, lol.

Why is this oil rig so dis-proportionally hard when it has such weak loot? this feels like I should be level 200 not 60 to beat this.

Normal mode (nothing changed,15 pals,4 bases,...)
You can menage to defeat xenolord normal without an OP asset.
I did it just with:
1.200 att;
2.normal plasma cannon;
3.+25% att food buff;
4. 4 gobfins(4 stars) with vanguard;
5. 3 att pendants (0,1,2);
6. an alpha frostallion(3 stars) without vanguard.
Took like 9min 40sec,but i killed him.
Just shot the crystal on his head (3x damage bonus).
I never did the last oil rig (at least for now).

so why is the reward garbage 2 ancient cores????

who knows ... i miss only 2 legendary bluprints ... i done around 200+ runs xD btw i play since realise of game

Okay that's cool.

And I solo'd the oil rig and got 3 lotuses, 20 cartridges, 2 ancient cores and a blue schematic lol

it's not worth the stress, ammo, risk and time.

Wait you guys got working pals on oil rigs? Everytime i summon a pal it just AFKs in place not attacking. Also non of the soldiers move or attack. Out of the 30 guards 3 or 4 moved to attack me.
Doesnt matter which rig tho. Only the turrets shoot me properly.

if this happens check where they looking at. its someone below or higher that they are triggered on. until that guy is dead they won't do anything else.

if this happens check where they looking at. its someone below or higher that they are triggered on. until that guy is dead they won't do anything else.

u already forgot about spots where they respawn pernament and trigger combat? xD

nope i don't forget but i'm allready gone by the time they respawn. and depending where you at don't trigger combat instantly.

I also don't believe you've done 200 runs of oil rig 3 without changing your settings from the default.

Even with legendary gear it's too hard

also why would you do oil rig 3 when the rewards are so garbage?

No oil rig is worth it with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moronic piece of ♥♥♥♥ ai that runs through 70 enemies and across the water even if it's told to attack the same target and you're being shot by the guy you're using a sword on as your pal runs away

Currently the oil rig is your only way to most of the current high gold gear at low odds to ensure you keep going back there for now.

The devs likely did this because with the old lvl 50 and under gear behind certain pals, players found the way to mass farm it by increasing spawn multipliers and by breeding then butchering them for increased odds at the schematics. This rendered all the dungeons within those level ranges pointless because why go dungeon diving when you can just hunt and mass breed those pals.

HA, no. Legend schematics still only dropped from Alpha bosses. You can't breed them, but you COULD glitch butcher them.

HA, no. Legend schematics still only dropped from Alpha bosses. You can't breed them, but you COULD glitch butcher them.
