You know they removed it because they're currently being sued by Pokemon/Nintendo, right?
have you tried playing the game recently? you can still throw spheres to capture wilds, you can even modify the behaviour of the spheres now.

you cant throw your own pal out, it gets summoned beside you. if thats a deal breaker for you or is gamebreaking for you, it is nothing but a skill issue my man.

You still throw to catch, you just don' throw to summon, which is an improvement if you ask me
Not being able to tactically place pals during combat is objectively speaking a downgrade from what was possible prior to the unwanted change. One can only hope that the devs will introduce new weapons to emulate the original throwing behavior. Such as a reverse sphere launcher: not for catching, but to shoot team pals.
how can I get pals on my team to help me mine away from base? since i cant throw them to make them do it now.i looked in the command wheel and no mining option was there?

Stand near the resource and look at it when summoning. If it doesn't trigger the action retrieve and distance a step or 2 (sometimes it sees your character in the path and disengages the action).
Had no problems so far.

The game essentially treats it as if you threw the ball at your feet. Pals that spawn close enough to something like a rock or tree will get the idea and begin harvesting it if they have the appropriate skill, or begin working at a station while in your base.
Ah ok ty

You can in fact throw pal spheres, yes

Throwing your pal into battle was one of the fun parts of the game. I used to always love to throw mine into a group of baddies as I ran up to fight them. I hope they return this feature.

There is no mod that allow it again? :c
would it infringe on the patent if the pal was summoned via a rocket launcher?, cause that wouldve been an hilarious loophole

I don't think bro understands the definition of "skill issue" lol?

Some people don't like seeing this kind of thing happen in the industry, hope this helps :)
My feedback would be they can add an animation or something where you point in the direction you want it summoned and then the light comes out of the paldeck just as it does now, only it places the pal where you pointed your crosshairs, that way you can still pop your pal up in the middle of the camp and sit back and enjoy the chaos while getting around any legal stuff.

It would certainly be ok, that's why it's so often proposed.

But it's more work to do and launching pals into battle was also causing problems (AI confusion...), so not realy worth it.
