I'm not sure there currently exists a flight-capable mount that can squeeze through every dungeon without needing to dismount at some point, some areas you'll just need to dismount for since even the smaller flying pals tend to hover too far off the ground, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Be that as it may, my personal favorite as a combo ground-flight pal is Frostallion Noct (regular Frostallion has same speed specs, I assume). It's small enough when not in alpha form to fit through at least half to most dungeon doorways and has excellent stamina for flight and sprinting. It's also a strong fighter when needed, which gives it good overall utility.
However, I've recently been using the new Tarantriss pal (the spider/arachne creature) for dungeons. It's not very fast without passives like "swift" and "runner", but it easily fits through all the dungeon doorways even in the larger alpha form (which takes less damage, making it tougher overall). It also has a grapple-gun-like ability to shoot web and fling itself up/forwards, enabling it to go basically anywhere you'd need a flying mount for in a dungeon.
If you're into using the Pal Condenser, it's worth noting that the normal 4-second cooldown for this web ability goes down to zero when Tarantriss is fully condensed, enabling even better mobility at no stamina cost.
Anyhow, I hope this helps!
It was like they really really wanted everyone to explore the new island on foot. Instead I just flew my Jetragon over the landscape, finding every single one of the towers and wrecking them one by one to clear the airspace.
Besides, it isn't such a big deal. The new island mostly looks like someone got all the wrong textures anyway. It has an interesting shape, but the colours are jank.
I think all the purples and whatnot were intentional to make it look more "fey"/fairy-like.
Tarantriss is also fun as well. Kind of like Spiderman flying.
