Wait full release?
How is game now, how many things are missing or lack polishing, QoL, story and everything else? Not in a hurry, but would like to try when it's best

The game is excessively addicting and has received a plethora of QOL additions and free expansions.

I'd say it well worth the money in it's current state, there's about 200+ hours of content here already.

Wait until they patch this recent update which has broken the game for a lot of players. Before the update it was addicting fun.

i wanna know too
Game is fine. But it's not complete yet. Still enjoyable though, IMO if they released it as is I wouldn't complain.

Yeah that's what "Early Access" means.
Basically the last update really messed with Pal Pathfinding and Working in the base. Not sure why but a lot of times Pal's will just stand frozen and starve themselves. Eventually it works itself out, but it keeps happening since the last update.

Outside of that the game is fun and addictive. Totally worth the price

Don't know what you guys are doing to have that happen but that never happens for me. 50 pals, none of them get stuck. They are supposed to warp back to the palbox if they get stuck in any way.

for 20bucks there are prolly better games out there u can buy that feels much more polish and complete but if ur into collecting mons then maybe its going to capture ur attention and it just comes down to expectation lol.

if ur in here for a 60h play, i think 20bucks is fair. if ur expecting a 100h game i think you will find it lacking.

I can't recommend it enough, especially as it's on sale! As others have said, there's a lot of bugs but the game world is huge and there's so much to do that does work. Base building, Pal collecting, farming/mining - boss battles. Hours of fun imo

Check-in next update maybe

This was a great patch, tons of QoL like guild chests! Shared massive storage across all bases and pals can deliver to it. No more weight-paralysis trying to move your rock base rocks to your manufacturing facility!

We also got another big island, reminded me of Isle of Siptah just a bit in appearance. Island is progressive in that you have to clear no-fly-zones by destroying turret camps. I've heard its permanent unlike oil turrets, but I don't fly so idk/c. Its also created a MASSIVE empty spot in the ocean for more islands. I hope its indicative of whats to come!

State of game, pals bug out BIG TIME. Base management feels like its getting better. It's MUCH better than release, but pals still get stuck on occasion especially if you 'don't know how to build ''''correctly''''' which is unfortunate...
There are some intrusive aggro issues right now to Pal AI, almost breaks the game for me but when it works its still fun....
Recent lawsuit got rid of throwing pals to summon, so we're exploring alternatives atm. To be clear, you can throw spheres to catch pals, but you can't throw your caught pal spheres to summon pals, they're summoned immediately beside you... Obligatory ♥♥♥♥ you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

The story has not concluded and has hardly advanced. I think we're still introducing gymstower bosses and their islands/themes. I imagine more settlements sprinkled with lore and the tree will come after, but I haven't seen a roadmap.

If you want it when its best, wait until full release or at least until a patch fixes the new notorious problems.
Still too many bugs wait for release. Constantly get thrown all of the place when climbing. Its game breaking if you are low on stamina and die if you end up in the middle of the water.

Reload your save and you will respawn the last place you touched land.

Honestly the game was worth it and good enough on launch, all these updates are adding more content and more polish
The game is highly enjoyable. However, I would suggest incorporating the ability to search for items and transfer them directly to the inventory, similar to the mechanics in the game Ark. Additionally, introducing a feature to filter a merchant's stock—for instance, to purchase only ice-type items—would enhance convenience. Lastly, implementing a functionality to save builds for reuse would significantly expedite the construction of additional bases.
