Ancient helmet help

I haven't seen a single schematic for the Ancient Helm, regardless of how much I farm and fish in the Tree region. I have killed all bosses, and cleared all towers on Hard. I fished enough Drone schematics to craft myself the legendary one, bust still, haven't seen even one for helmets. Where should I l look?

3 Ocean Bases around Feybreak, 2 Syndicate level 75, and 1 Moonflower level 65 have a guaranteed Legendary Treasure map in the gold chest. From what I've seen that's the best bet for getting one.

You can do them once per in-game day but you must free the pal too otherwise the base won't reset. The Moonflower chest is easy enough to find but the Syndicate one is pretty well hidden behind a destructible wall.

its in the sunreach sky islands along with the mechanical bow. chests and fishing. it takes forever to get them to legendary so strap in for the long run if thats your goal.

I opened around 300-400 legendary treasure maps and never saw the epic never mind legendary. Ended up just using cheat engine to duplicate the rare variants since id already spent 12+ hours just grinding the helmet blueprint and decided it wasnt worth it. Still wanted the legendary since it was the only equipment that wasnt and my ocd hated it but my god its not worth the grind...for reference i was standing at a treasure spot, looted it, if it wasnt what i wanted i quit to title menu, alt tabbed to my save folder and deleted the save and pasted in the save with me standing in front of the treasure beam. This allowed an open every 30ish seconds. Also did a ton of fishing while waiting to accrue maps but they werent biting.

I love mechanics meant to artificially inflate how long people keep playing the game!!!
