2. If you played one of the recent pokemon games you surely have enough money for it
3. Sale at least half a year if not a whole year
4. If you find the game interesting just buy it, play it for 2h and decide if you want to keep playin it and enjoy the new content coming + mods when they release support for it
Oooooor simply wait 1 year and check the reviews.
2. I have never been able to afford Pokemon, I got Violet as a christmas present
3. Thanks for answering the sale question :3
4. If I could afford to buy it and try it this would not have been a question
You're better off spending time looking for employment that makes it so that 45$ is insignificant to you.
you are telling me you got such a high tax that the game gose from 30 to freaking 45 ?
yeah i don't believe that
USD to CAD is 30 to 40
Five dollars tax is wild though, but I don't knwo what canada's tax is like.
Not saying the games over priced to be clear, if its a good open world early access game in a genre with limited entries this is roughly what I would expect, but if your limited on money to burn while gaming there's like a few titles you could look into before this for this that will likely have higher reviews. And just waiting for a sale might turn this 45$ from 1 game to 2.
Or of course this could end up being the next ark where despite the jank it turns into one of the most popular games ever made in which case I'll shut up.
Ark is mods, and Palworld will have mod support, as soon it gets implemented then modders will keep this game alive for years.
Don't get me wrong mods help ark a lot, but the game's 100's if not 1000's of hours of content without mods. And has an amazing gameplay loop on top of that. Mods cant take a 5/10 game to a 9/10 most of the time.
I'm waiting for gameplay and reviews to drop before making any decisions personally
So far i know they said something like possible dlc content if the game performs good and they reached end of EA (or at least when they have all 140 Pals that they want to do if i remember correct).
But if they make modding real you will have unlimit amounts of stuff/content to play with (if they provide dev kit or something like that so it's not limit to unofficial stuff etc.).
And you should be able to get your money back as long as you don't play longer for 2h, so if you still worried that the gameplay isn't good enough you can do that.
Or simply wait 2-3 month and see how game is going (ง •_•)ง which if you haven't enough money might be the best choice
