How does Lavish Hospitality work?
I found a Katress with a trait called Lavish Hospitality, it say "Your dropped items +100%" I am not sure exactly what it does, it doesn't double resources I get after mining, killing pals, capturing pals, or even duplicate items when I die (which was a shame, and would be hilarious)

Pretty sure it's for butchering the pal.
If you drop 30 gold you lose 60. Jk. I assume.
Can confirm butchering pals has no bonus from this skill. Will be looking for other resources it buffs.
Is it a ranch skill perhaps? Like if mozzarina has it, when it makes milk, will it be 2 milk rather than one?

You might need to breed it into a ranch pal to see if that's true, though.
aight my running theory is this:
i had a Direhowl with Lavish hospitality
i read on nexttier.pro that it gives loot "twice" in the life of a pal when you Capture it and when you Butcher it.
so what i whitnessed is this, after butchering like 4 Direhowl including my Lavish hospitality one.
it puts the "Drop chance" to 100%
of all the "normal" ones i only got leather.
From the Lavish Direhowl i got ALL items from it's drop pool.
3 Leather 3 Ruby and a bit of gold.

I've done multiple testings with different pals and ranks and they still give the same amount
It's probably a poor translation. I've seen that passive all over the place, yet I still do not know what it does.
from what i saw it should increase drop rates from Pals that got killed by one with the trait.
It seems to be related to the cleaver
this is what brave ai says... not how i thought it worked either.

Lavish Hospitality is a Rainbow Tier passive skill introduced in the Palworld 1.0 update that increases the dropped items by 100% for the specific Pal carrying it. This effect triggers only when that Pal is captured or butchered (using a Meat Cleaver), effectively doubling material yields like meat, organs, or Pal Souls. It does not boost loot from mining, ranch work, or kills performed by other party members.

To obtain this trait, players must catch wild Pals (as no species has it innately) or breed it from a carrier onto a desired species. It is commonly stacked with Service-Minded (+50% drops) and Insomnia on dedicated breed-and-butcher Pals to maximize farming efficiency. Unlike mutation or World Tree passives, it cannot be implanted at the Surgery Table and is acquired exclusively through random wild rolls or breeding inheritance.
Question. If you have it on a Yakumo does it force the palls you defeat without capturing them have the trait 30% of the time, or do you have to capture them?
