Did they add AMD FSR 4.1 to the full launch?
I couldn't see it in the patch notes for 1.0. I want to play this game but I play in 4K, I need to know if this game supports FSR 3.1 or higher.

Unfortunately, they did not.
All they have to add is FSR 3.1 and its done, but i guess they choose to ignore all feedback from early acces, i mean why listen to users that only part of 19,13% market share right ?

Most unreal engine based games such as palworld have FSR4 already
WTF? AMD has made it increasingly easy to implement it. And like you guys said all they had to do was put in 3.1 if they felt too damn lazy to go the full way and we could have upgraded it ourselves.

I never played the game before so maybe it runs good at 4K but I kind of doubt it. I have a RX 9060 XT and Ryzen 5700X so we’ll see. Most games only hit 60fps 4K when FSR is enabled.

That was honestly one of the main things I had hoped they would add to the 1.0 release, I wouldn’t have gotten the game if I knew ahead of time they wouldn’t bother.
Is this a JOKE?

They still haven't implemented FSR?

It's litterally an engine toggle in UE.

Absolute nonsense

I agree dumb haven't yet, but like I have a 7900xtx, capped at 60fps, native 4k, basically maxed settings. Prob push it further than 60 if tweaked, but honestly it's freakin hot in my place today lol Good nuff, kinda wild get this kind of performance native 4k, any engine these days without an upscaler. Think a 9060 should be okay in 4k too with right settings if just aiming for 60fps.

For now too, with AMD at least just use super resolution in the control panel, or a third party like optiscaler, lossless etc. Used super res for years with a RX580, good solution too, basically just driver side FSR, set res to 2k in game(ie anything lower than your native desktop res), let gpu scale it back up to 4k just like any other upscaler.

Last note, already been trying that FSR 4 upgrade, oh it's awesome, my gods no more ghosting even on performance, but like...you don't want that if you're just trying to get best possible frames, leave it at 3.1 (for games have it obviously), that's still best for raw performance.
You can use optiscaler to spoof and then re route dlss to FSR4 btw, its just lame you have to do this, instead of the game natively supporting things that majority of games these days support on day 1.

I know but we shouldn't have to do this.

If it was any other engine maybe but it's friggin UE.

Dissapointed that they can't be arsed to implement this when the userbase has been asking for this ever since EA.
Nope. Because they are nvidia shills. It's lame beyond any imagination, they throw poops at amd/intel gpu owners, without even at least FSR 1 or xess.
you gotta do the same thing as early access to get FSR lol

Why would they even consider doing FSR1 at this point, if they add FSR it should be FSR3.1 because it requires the least amount of effort for them as its FSR4 upgradeable out of the box as long the game runs in dx12

Optiscaler is a good idea, but it currently has a problem with the update: when you enter a boss tower, the screen stays black. You can hear everything and interact, but you can't see anything.

Just partially.
They're probably still running the old UE version like 5.1 or 5.2 and never manually added the SDK.

Toggling is one thing, you still have to create separate motion vector pipelines for AMD (They aren't using the same model like Ngreedia)

Overall adding MVP's in open world games with the size of Palworld is usually taking 2-4 weeks in total if you do it solo (which isn't that much).

But yeah they really have to add it asap
