There's dozens of nearly identical posts on this forum. You are beating on a dead horse. Any company spending anywhere near as much money as Pocketpair is on this game would have to be completely nuts to not make proper legal verification with their lawyers before making the game.

Believe it or not but Nintendo doesn't own a monopoly on creature capture games.
If they did we wouldn't have plenty of others like Temtem for example.. which btw has a Nintendo Switch release, and is vastly superior to any modern pokemon title.

Pixelmon (pokemon minecraft mod) got sued and the mod developers won. If this is even less then Pixelmon in pokemon likeness, what makes you think Nintendo has a case?

I don't know what you're talking about, Pixelmon got shut down by Nintendo via cease and desist. Everything I can read on it says the exact same thing.
Pixelmon literally uses the Pokemon IP, and it's not a fair use situation, so Nintendo would actually have control over it.

That being said, yes, Palworld is safe but the two scenarios are way different.

I mean there's no way Pixelmon could win such a case. They're straight up using Pokemon's IP, and it is not fair use. Given I can't find a single thing about it and how big that would be for copyright law, I feel very confident saying people are just spreading that misinformation.

They can't sue. It's not even like Pokemon just because it has animals you can catch. Temtem is literally just like pokemon and it didn't get sued either.
