but there definitely gonna be more since the island gonna be all most as big as the main island of palpagos. excluding the big desert, volcano and the Everest.
Bigger isn't always better. There's plenty of dead and repetitive areas on the existing islands. They could add 10 new pals on a new island larger than all the islands combined... doesn't mean it's good. Their AI or whatever making the islands is also breaking them and making horrendous clipping spots or missing structures you run into even on the OG islands. I rather them polish a medium island than release one huge one that is barren, repetitive, and broken.
they say'd "6 time's bigger that sakurajima" and have show 14-ish pals on the trailer. with that knowledge i can assume that there gonna be more pals for the update.
for ******* sake for a island THIS big, just adding 10 pal would be pitiful.
it just make sense to assume there gonna be more new pals.
i legit hear Todd Howard saying "6 time's bigger that sakurajima" when the dev post it. i'm quipping my hype low. bigger is not better and i agree. but it so irrelevant on what the OG ask. then you go on a tangent on AI for some reason.
We also have to keep in mind that PocketPair is likely devoting a good bit less resources to game development than they otherwise would, with a larger focus being on the Nintendo lawsuit that is meant to drain them of said resources. I'd like to be wrong, but I think keeping expectations low would be a good call going forward.
Seems about right. If you are curious then you can compare the trailer to https://palworld.fandom.com/wiki/Paldeck however some pals only appear for a split second, others are behind the player's team, and others appear to be off to the side.
a black dinosaur with blue crystals like Jetragon's red ones.
a blue/white humanoid lion.
a white/gold canine, or horse thing.
a pink flower girl.
a black wolf cub.
a pink/black fluffy thing with tripod legs.
there are 2 things in containment cylinders 1 is a cattiva, but the other I can't tell.
a white horse? with a black brow area mining.
a white/black/blue floating magic bunny.
a black/blue horse 99.9% sure this time.
a black blob with a white face.
3 of the pals in the splash screen are not any of the above pals.
That makes my count of new pals in the trailer 14.
It is also worth noting nearly everything in the trailer seem new other then the Cattiva, and the faces of the PC/new tower boss guy. The armor, buildings, weapons, human enemy type everything. The guns look, and function similar to what we have, but they aren't. Same goes for the armor it doesn't quite match what we have, that isn't the wood we have in the players base, and that is 1 massive sulfur pit (extra stinky?).
back on topic.
let put are thin-fold-hat's on.
they have show 14-ish new pal in the trailer right. so a safe bet for such a big island would be... maybe 60. anything above 80 sound unreasonable to me do to the crunch time of Xmiss and nintenjuck's nonsense.
+ we need to add new wepons, armour, ect... in the calculation.
let's all so quip in mind that sakurajima added 24 pals if you count the recolor's or 15 if you don't count them. they effectively show the sakurajima update in the add for feybreak.
