You could also just increase player damage by 40-60% in the world settings to make up for not having gobfins so you can allow yourself the freedom of using something else.
That's understandable.
And most of the time you can use what you want.
I mean - in general. When it comes to serious battles, it's the juiciest and laziest option, which seems to leave no alternatives. And it seems addictive.
This is not a criticism, however, or propaganda of Gobfins over any other pals. It's just a thought.
real men become goblins
By comparison, gobfins contribute while not being summoned, then depending on passives, a max condensed gobfin can increase your offense 30% and defense 10% per gobfin. So you can take a mount (or pal glider) and 4 gobfins for 120% weapon DPS and 40% defense, before food additions, and steamroll content - as long as you have ammo.
I personally don't find it fun though. Seems silly that they put in a mechanic/gameplay style that bypasses the theme of the game. But oh well. Lots of people use it, and I'm considering using it for the last tower and bellanor libero. And maybe even oilrigs, since my pal's AI keeps making it ignore enemies specifically on the rig, to run off into the distance targeting who-knows-what.
Here's the long answer: If you are good at dodging attacks and have put a lot of your level up stats into attack. Gobfin passive when leveled up to max is surprisingly strong, and they stack, even with Vanguard. Thus a team of four Gobfins, all with maxed out passive and vanguard, buffs your attack, to insane level.
It will take time to get there but, it is worth it, as long as you know how to dodge the attacks of other pals.
Regarding the short answer, just as it is, it is not a great pal, you would need to work on it and other Gobfins in your team. If you don't want to work on getting vanguard Gobfin with maxed passive, you are better off focusing on other pals.
if u wanna some for tower u can try elemental build a like shadowbeak and 4 hoocrates
